Cowboys Add DE Martez Wilson

Wilson was a third round draft pick by the Saints back in 2011

Another week, another new face on the defensive line for the Cowboys.

Dallas signed defensive end Martez Wilson to a two-year deal on Tuesday after working him out at Valley Ranch on Monday, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Wilson was most recently a member the Oakland Raiders, with whom he spent three games after being cut by the Saints after Week 4 of this season. Wilson was drafted by New Orleans in the third round of the 2011 draft out of the University of Illinois.

In 2012 with the Saints, Wilson recorded 19 tackles, three sacks, two pass deflections and a forced fumble.

In order to make room for the new addition, the Cowboys released defensive tackle Everett Dawkins.
