Drenching, slow-moving rain led to the National Weather Service issuing Flash Flood Warnings for several North Texas counties Wednesday afternoon. Those warnings have since been canceled.
A Flood Warning was issued in place of the Flash Flood Warnings for Collin, Dallas, Rockwall, and Ellis counties until 7 p.m.
The NWS said lingering flooding would still be possible but no new flooding was expected.
Spotty showers or a thunderstorm were expected Wednesday. Late Wednesday, the rain will move out. Starting Thursday temperatures will start warming up. On Saturday and Sunday, temperatures will be in the low to mid-80s over the weekend.
