Two different wrecks on U.S. 175 have closed the highway northbound and southbound Monday afternoon.
Both wrecks are within a few yards of each other near Pine Street on S.M. Wright Freeway.
In the first wreck, a sports utility vehicle appears to have rolled and come to rest in the middle of the northbound lanes.
Chopper 5 observed what appeared to be the driver of the SUV being loaded into an awaiting ambulance.
Meanwhile, traffic is being redirected southbound because of a box truck on its side facing the wrong direction near the grass.
It is not known how long the highway will be shut down.
