TAMU Pushes Past UH in Houston College Classic

Kyle Colligan's two-run homer in the sixth gave Texas A&M a 5-3 victory over Houston on Sunday in the Houston College Classic.

Houston took a 3-0 lead on singles by Blake Kelso, Caleb Ramsey and Matt Murphy. The Aggies (7-2) answered with a two-run single by Adam Smith and a groundout by Dylan Petrich to tie the game at 3-3 after five.

Ross Hales (2-0) got the win, allowing no runs on three hits in 1 1-3 innings of relief. Travis Starling picked up his second save.

Starter Frank Corolla (0-1) took the loss, giving up four runs on eight hits in 5 1-3 innings for Houston (2-6).
