Cowboys middle linebacker Sean Lee returned for Monday nightβs match-up with the Bears in Chicago after missing the past two games with a hamstring injury, only to be forced from the game in the second half with a neck injury. Lee said after the 45-28 loss that he expects to play next week against the Packers, but that heβd undergo an MRI this week at Valley Ranch.
βI tried to keep coming back, but I wasnβt able to hit anybody,β said Lee, who added that heβd never had a neck injury before, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. βThe leg is good. Iβm hoping I just bounce back and should be ready for the next week.β
Fellow linebacker Bruce Carter was injured in the loss as well, with a hamstring issue. But like Lee, he doesnβt sound terribly worried about the issue moving forward.
βMy legs were already tight in this cold weather,β Carter said. βIβll be all right.β
