Odor Continues Perfect Run of Steals

Rougned Odor has the look of a guy who could steal some bases.

He's a smallish middle infielder, and he's fast — enough so that he's right up near the top of baseball in triples since he broke into the big leagues.

But he's also proof speed doesn't equate to stealing bases, as he's just 10-for-24 on stolen base attempts in his career. It's definitely an area of his game that needs improvement and could make him even more dangerous than he already appears to be.

On Tuesday, Odor made a clean steal of third base — a harder bag to swipe than second — in a Cactus League loss to the Padres. It moved him to a perfect 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts this spring and could be a sign of good things to come.

If Odor could become a guy who can steal 20 bases, it'd make him that much more valuable, and he clearly has the athleticism to do it.
