Nick Williams is having himself quite a run down on the farm for Double-A Frisco.

After being selected to play in the MLB Futures Game during the All-Star Game festivities, the Galveston native has not skipped a beat.

One of the top prospects in the Rangers system, the left-handed outfielder has been on a tear over his past eight games, most recently with a game-winning homer in the eighth inning on Monday night against San Antonio.

In that eight-game span, Williams is batting .441 with a .486 on-base percentage with a double, triple, four home runs and eight RBIs. So even though Joey Gallo is in Round Rock now, there is still plenty to see in Frisco, most notably Nomar Mazara and Williams, so get out there and enjoy it, folks.
