Mavericks Season Schedule Set

All-Star Weekend highlight of 2009-10 season.

The Dallas Mavericks announced their 2009-10 season schedule on Tuesday.
Dallas begins its 30th season on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at home as they take on the Washington Wizards.

After tipping-off the season at home vs. Washington, Dallas plays seven of its next 10 games on the road.  Games in that stretch include Western Conference foes L.A. Lakers, New Orleans and San Antonio.

December is kind to the Mavericks as they play eight of their 14 games at home.  In fact, the team plays a season-high tying four straight games at the American Airlines Center from Dec. 18-26.

January proves to be the Mavericks toughest month as the team plays a season-high nine games on the road but just six at home.  A season-high five-game road trip occurs that month as the Mavericks head East on a week-long jaunt from January 17-24.

For the first time since 1986, Dallas will host NBA All-Star Weekend from Feb. 12-14.  The weekend culminates with the 2010 All-Star Game played at Cowboys Stadium that is expecting a record-setting 80,000 in attendance.
