Clutts Would Love to Be Back in 2015

Cowboys fullback Tyler Clutts is set to become an unrestricted free agent

Unrestricted free agent-to-be Tyler Clutts has spent a little over a year in Dallas, and he’d be happy to return in 2015.

I’d love to be back,” Clutts said, per Michael Florek of the Dallas Morning News. “I love the city, I love the organization, I love the guys in this locker room, I love Coach Garrett and Mr. Jones. I would love to be here but everybody knows it’s a business and things work out certain ways.”

Clutts played an important but quiet role in the Cowboys’ vaunted running game in 2014, often leading the way for DeMarco Murray. His biggest moment as a Cowboy--and arguably as a pro--came in the first quarter of Sunday’s 26-21 loss to the Packers, when he caught a one-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 7-7, the first touchdown of his career.

“I know my role and I know my position and I know the reality of my position,” Clutts added. “I can’t dwell on the things I can’t control.”
