The Dallas Cowboys re-signed Tearrius George on Friday.
Reporter Nick Eatman reports George spent 12 weeks on the Cowboys practice squad last season before New Orleans claimed him back in December.
George finished the year with the Saints but was released and spent some time this summer with the Dolphins before being cut.
Last year, he had 12 tackles in the preseason for the Cowboys, and led the squad in sacks with two.
George has also spent time with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL. He was a teammate of Terence Newman at Kansas State.
The Cowboys made the move after waiving Justin Rogers and dealing with injuries to Brandon Williams and Stephen Hodge.
