Big 12 Launches Conference Games

Big 12 teams have spent two months pounding non-conference opponents at a .791 clip. Now almost everyone's winning percentage is about to start dropping because the time has come for them to start tearing into one another.

Every conference team but Colorado and Kansas will launch conference play Saturday, with the two highest-ranked teams both big favorites. No. 6 Oklahoma is on the road at Kansas State and No. 7 Texas will be home against Iowa State.

Kansas plays a big road game Saturday at No. 8 Michigan State before opening at home against Kansas State next Tuesday. Kansas State will play the Big 12's last non-conference game on Feb. 17 against North Carolina Central.

The .791 winning rate would be a non-conference record for the Big 12.
