Texas Ranger Hunter Pence Selected to 2019 All-Star Game Lineup

Texas Rangers designated hitter Hunter Pence has been named to the 2019 MLB All-Star game lineup.

Pence is a North Texan who played at Arlington High School and also the University of Texas at Arlington.

The game will be played Tuesday, July 9 in Cleveland.

Rangers Outfielder Joey Gallo was also on the ballot, that fans were allowed to vote on, but was beat out by Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels.

Rangers pitcher Mike Minor is expected to make the team as well, but fans don’t vote on pitchers.

Pitchers and reserves for the All-Star Game will be announced Sunday at 4:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
