Four Arrested in Burglary of Manny Pacquiao's Home

No one was home at the time.

Four people were arrested Friday on suspicion of burglarizing the home believed to be owned by Manny Pacquiao, authorities said.

The incident occurred at 1:30 p.m. in the boxing starโ€™s Hancock Park neighborhood. No one was home at the time.

Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Capt. Mike Parker said in a statement that the investigation is ongoing.

The sheriff's deputies were in the neighborhood of Pacquiaoโ€™s home following up on an unrelated investigation when the detectives saw the home being burglarized.

The names of the four people arrested were not released.

Pacquaio's attorney Franklin Gacal said the fighter is in the Philippines preparing for a Nov. 12 fight against Juan Manuel Marquez.

In 2010 Pacquiao was elected to to the House of Representatives in the 15th Congress of the Philippines.
