Gov. Rick Perry's big photo op with Sarah Palin will have to wait a little longer.
Perry campaign aides said a planned Tea Party event featuring Perry and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been canceled. The event was scheduled to take place in San Antonio later this month and was not a campaign-sponsored event.
Catherine Frazier, Perry's campaign spokewoman, said the event wasn't the big fundraiser Perry supporters have been waiting to attend. It was put together by a San Antonio-area Tea Party group.
Frazier also said the Perry campaign hadn't sold any tickets to the event or collected money from sales of tickets to the event.
She said she was not sure why the event was canceled.
