I live in North Texas just outside of Paris. I have had seven feeders out for the last 2-3 weeks and fill them twice a day. Seems the last cold
front has moved them along but I am sure another wave will be here shortly. —

I have on average 3-4 at a time in my backyard right now. I’ve had up to 11 at one time. I have three feeders, the Ruby throats are very territorial and put up good fights to protect the feeders.

I live in Greenville, TX…. I have had an abundant amount of beautiful hummingbirds. I have heard that hummingbirds are territorial however I have had two on a minimum that come daily and feed together.
You had wanted to know how many feeders that I have in my yard which I
assume you were wanting to know if that’s what drew them to my yard. I
now have two hummingbird feeders. Originally when they started coming
around though I did not have any hummingbird feeders they were after my
hibiscus flowers. But, they started coming around so often that I went out
and bought hummingbird feeders specifically for them!! I love them!! I
have lived in North Texas my whole life of 37 years between Rockwall, Royse
City, and Greenville and always in the country, but have never seen so many
come around like this.

This little guy left my feeder and slammed into our patio window. He looked
to be lifeless but I picked him up, stimulated he for about 10-15 minutes.
He made a full recovery and flew off to the trees.
If you find any bird immediately after a window strike, pick it up and
stimulate it for a bit and they can recover.
Leaving them lying there in shock, might result in the bird dying for
certain.
Always worth a shot.
