Authorities said a pickup truck fatally struck a pedestrian on Interstate 30 in Dallas early Wednesday morning. [[379918871,C]]
Dallas County Sheriff's deputies and Dallas police responded to the scene on eastbound I-30 near the exit to Buckner Boulevard just after 1 a.m. and found a woman dead.
Authorities said they're still investigating, but that the black pickup hit the woman, who appeared to have been crossing the road.
No further details about the crash have been released.
The right two lanes of I-30 and the frontage road were blocked during the investigation.
