Woman Dead, Suspect At Large After North Dallas Shooting

A 59-year-old woman is dead and the suspect is at large after a shooting in North Dallas Monday evening, police say.

The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Monday in the 6100 block of Royalton Drive, according to Dallas police. The home sits one block back from the popular Preston Royal shopping center.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Leslie Baker, 59. Baker is a marketing executive for Texas Health Resources.

Police said the Baker was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
