University of Texas students and faculty gathered in Austin Monday to remember 18-year-old Haruka Weiser who was killed last week.
The university's community met at a drama building where Weiser was last seen alive on April 3 and later walked to where her body was found in a creek.
Organizers of this event said they want to send a message to "Stop Violence Against Women."
