Fort Worth police are trying to find out how two women drove their car off a bridge early Friday morning.
The wreck happened along a bridge on the 900 block of NE 28th Street.
MedStar officials said that when they arrived on scene, they found two adult women trapped in a vehicle below the bridge.
Emergency workers freed the women from the wrecked vehicle.
Both were sent to a local hospital.
The passenger, a woman in her 20s, is in critical condition. The driver, whose age is unknown as this time, escaped the wreckage with injuries that were not life-threatening.
NE 28th Street was closed for several hours after the wreck.
