All-Clear Given After 3 Crowley Schools Were Locked Down

Rumors of the threat spread through text messages and social media

The Crowley Independent School District  placed Crowley High School, Crowley 9th Grade Campus and Bill R. Johnson Career and Technology Education Center on lock down after a potential security threat, Wednesday afternoon.

On its website the district states the lock down was a "precautionary measure" requested by the Crowley Police Department. 

At 1:40pm the district was given the all-clear and the lock down was lifted. According to the district, police found no credible threat against the schools.
