Next year's X Games Austin event has been pushed back from mid-May until early June.
ESPN on Thursday announced the competition involving athletes on skateboards and motorcycles has been reset for June 5-8. No reason was immediately provided for rescheduling the original May 15-18 dates.
Austin will host X Games summer events for four years at the 1,500-acre Circuit of The Americas sports and entertainment complex. Austin in July was selected over three other finalists: Chicago, Detroit and Charlotte, N.C.
The X Games in August wrapped up an 11-year run in Los Angeles.
