A suspect in a Houston-area college campus shooting is back in custody after he was declared a fugitive when he failed to appear at a scheduled court appearance.
Harris County sheriff's spokesman Alan Bernstein says Trey Foster turned himself in Thursday evening at the Harris County Jail in Houston.
His surrender came two days after a bench warrant was issued for the 22-year-old suspect's arrest.
District attorney's spokeswoman Sara Kinney says he'll be held without bond after a judge revoked his bond.
Foster had been free on $50,000 bond charged with aggravated assault in the Jan. 22 shooting at a Lone Star College campus north of downtown Houston. He was declared a fugitive, though, after he failed to appear for a scheduled Tuesday court date in Houston.
