An 80-year-old man reported missing in Grand Prairie late last month has been found dead, investigators say.
A Silver Alert was issued for the man who was last seen in Grand Prairie on Oct. 31.
On Wednesday, police said a body found Saturday in a waterway in the 1400 block of SE 14th Street was identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office as the man reported missing.
Officers are investigating the death as a possible suicide due to a note left behind by the man, police said.
