Yu Darvish felt normal after playing catch Thursday morning, a day removed from feeling shoulder pain in Wednesday's outing. The Rangers say Darvish will throw his normally scheduled bullpen on Friday during the team's trip to Seattle.
Darvish lasted just five innings after throwing 76 pitches in a 3-1 loss to the Astros. The Rangers ace missed all of the 2015 season after Tommy John surgery and is only three starts into his 2016 campaign.
Adrian Beltre also left Wednesday's game early, and a MRI on Thursday showed a mile strain in his left hamstring.
The third baseman will avoid time on the disabled list, for now, in hopes a few days off is all he needs to get healthy. Beltre has a long history with hamstring injuries.
