Grand Prairie police are looking for the men who appear to be targeting Asian women to steal their purses in the Asia Times Square lot, located at 2615 W. Pioneer Pkwy.
According to police, there have been at least two incidents in the span of one week in the same area.
The first offense happened on the evening of Sunday, Sept. 24, when a woman placed her purse on the passenger seat of her vehicle, police said. When she walked to the driver’s side, a man opened the passenger door, took her purse, and fled the scene. Police said two men in a dark-colored, newer model of a Chrysler 300 used the victim’s credit card in Fort Worth about 40 minutes later.

A week later, on the evening of Oct. 1, a man snatched a purse from a child’s hands while the child's mother was loading groceries into her car. Police said, the man fled the scene in a newer model of a Toyota Camry.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of $1,000 for information that could lead to an arrest.
