A Plano man who failed to register as a sex offender was arrested in Houston, authorities said.
Plano police said they issued a warrant for 56-year-old Harry John Russo after he skipped a register meeting. They tracked him to Houston, where local police and U.S. Marshals arrested him.
Russo was convicted of sexually assaulting a female while burglarizing a home in 1979. He also offered at least one Plano Sonic employee money to see her feet, police said.
Police said Russo would be transferred to the Collin County Jail.
