Police said a pedestrian was fatally struck while trying to cross a street in Fort Worth Saturday night.
Fort Worth police said a man was crossing in the 1900 block of Hemphill Street when he was struck by a vehicle heading north at 7:58 p.m. The victim later died from his injuries.
The driver did not stop to render aid to the victim, according to officials.
Police said the vehicle was a small to medium dark SUV that likely has damage to its front right section, including the headlight.
