The Wylie Police Department introduced its newest team member on Wednesday.
The department's new mascot, Sergeant Barker who received a clean bill of health from his veterinarian and passed all of his training requirements greeted students.
Students at Bush Elementary were the first to meet Sgt. Barker Wednesday morning.
