Police said a man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into an SUV in Dallas Thursday night. [[418605503,C]]
Dallas police said the 27-year-old motorcycle driver ran a red light at the intersection of Preston and Spring Valley roads, colliding with the Nissan Rogue at 8:47 p.m.
The man was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
Police said the 47-year-old woman driving the SUV was transported to Methodist Dallas Medical Center with minor injuries.
Officers shut down the intersection during the investigation of the crash.
