Man Wanted in Fort Worth Homicide Kills Self: Police

The man wanted in connection with a homicide near the Fort Worth Stockyards on Wednesday took his own life later in the day, police say.

Fort Worth police officers were called to a home on the 3200 block of North Terry Street at 6:38 a.m. arrived to find a man in the driveway dead from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.

Thursday afternoon, police said the man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting was found deceased in the the backyard of a home on the 3600 block of North Crump Street.

The names of the men involved have not been released and a motive for the original shooting has not been confirmed.
