Man Exposes Self, Touches Woman at Bachman Lake Park: Police

Woman slips away from man's grasp, calls 911 before he drives away

A Dallas woman says she was touched by a man who exposed himself as she tried to get into her car near Bachman Lake.

The woman told police she was walking to her car at about 11:30 p.m. on March 28 when she was approached by a Hispanic man along the 2700 block of Bachman Drive.

She said the man stood between her and her car, "making it difficult to enter her vehicle." As she tried to get inside the car, she said the man began touching her and she noticed his penis was exposed.

The woman managed to slip away and call 911. The man, meanwhile, stayed near the woman's vehicle and would occasionally approach her as she talked with 911 dispatchers.

Shortly before police arrived, the man got into a late-model, white Nissan Juke and drove away.

The woman said the man appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s, spoke Spanish and English with a heavy accent and had black hair and brown eyes. He was about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed about 160 pounds.

Anyone with information about the incident or the man is asked to call Detective C. Anderson at 214-671-3616 or Sgt. A. Mills at 214-671-3596.

Earlier this week, a woman reported a heavy-set black man exposed and touched himself as she walked near Comstock Middle School in Southeast Dallas. The cases do not appear to be related.
