Great Texas Warrant Round Up Coming

Here’s your warning.

If you’ve got warrants pending, save yourself from the potential embarrassment of getting arrested in front of your family and friends. Take care of your warrants before Friday, Feb. 19.

The Dallas City Marshal’s Office and the Dallas Police Department are joining forces to execute their annual Great Texas Warrant Round Up.

Houston, San Antonio and other agencies throughout the state are also cracking down on outstanding warrants.

They will concentrate on people with unpaid traffic and non-traffic citations and for any warrants pending before the Dallas Municipal Court.

A city news release says people who don’t take care of their warrants can be arrested, jailed or have a hold placed on their vehicle registration renewal. They also may not be able to get their driver license renewed.

Outstanding citations can be paid in person at 2014 Main St., between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Citations may also be paid online by clicking here.
