A single-vehicle crash in Frisco killed a 16-year-old boy from Little Elm. Another teenager was behind the wheel at the time.
The wreck happened Saturday around 11:00 p.m.
Frisco police said a 16-year-old boy was driving westbound on Panther Creek Parkway when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a pole at Grayhawk Boulevard.
Officers said the vehicle's passenger, Anjealo Magno-Santos, died at the scene. He was a student at Lone Star High School in Frisco.
Emergency crews took the driver to the hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police said they have not determined the cause of the crash. At this point, charges have not been filed.
