Fort Worth police said a 35-year-old man died after being shot overnight.
Officers responded to a shooting call near the intersection of Wellesley Avenue and Horne Street at about midnight Wednesday and found a man in the parking lot.
The victim — later identified as Anthony Armstead — was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
