Members of the Fort Worth Police Department installed a new air-conditioning unit Tuesday for an 89-year-old woman who was living without A/C, according to a tweet.
Officer Billy Gray heard about the woman, who has dementia and is blind in one eye, living in the Texas heat, Fort Worth police wrote.
According to police, Gray and other officers donated and installed a window unit in the woman's home, with help from Lowe's Home Improvement.
