Digital and Marketing Revenue Grows for Dallas Morning News' Parent, But Print Losses Drag on Results

Revenue from digital and marketing services are growing for the parent company of The Dallas Morning News, but not enough to offset declines from its newspaper business.A. H. Belo Corporation reported a second-quarter loss of $805,000, or 4 cents a share, after reporting a profit in the same period last year of $693,000, or 3 cents a share."While the second quarter decline in print-related revenues was challenging, we continue to see excellent growth from digital marketing services," said Jim Moroney, chairman, president and chief executive officer of A.
