A lightning strike is to blame for a fire in Aledo that burned through more than 150 acres Sunday night, Aledo fire officials said. The fire was eventually contained and no injuries were reported.
The fire encompassed land near the 300 block of Queen Street, Aledo fire officials said.
The Aledo Fire Department got help from firefighters from Fort Worth and Benbrook.
No homes were damaged, fire officials said.
