West 7th is recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month with its Flight or Fight event Saturday April 18.
Citizens can come to West 7th to launch hundreds of paper airplanes to choose flight with Fort Worth community leaders and children.
Tarrant county had some of the highest rates of child abuse and neglect in Texas with 6,097 confirmed victims in 2014.
Registration will begin at 2 p.m. and the launch itself will happen at 4:30.
