Police said two people are on the run after a chase from Richardson to southeast Dallas early Friday morning.
Richardson police said the chase began after trying to stop the driver for an expired registration.
The pursuit reached speeds faster than 100 mph at times on Interstate 635 before police said they briefly lost the driver in southeast Dallas.
Officers found the vehicle after it crashed into a ditch near the intersection of Amity Lane and Catskill Street at about 2:45 a.m. Police said two people they think were in the car ran from the scene.
No further details have been released.
