Here's a daily list of crimes across North Texas compiled on Feb. 23.

BURGLAR TAKES PAIN PILLS
A burglar took just one bottle of hydrocodone, a painkiller, from a house in the 3600 block of Granada Drive, the Star-Telegram reports. Nothing else was missing, according to the police report. Police had not determined how the burglar got in. Click here to read this story from the Star-Telegram

LOOMIS OFFERS $10,000 REWARD IN ARMORED CAR HEIST
Dallas police are searching for two men who robbed an armored car guard on Feb. 14 as he was trying to refill the ATM at the Bank of America in the 3300 block of West Camp Wisdom Road. Dallas police said one thief put a gun to the back of the guard's head after firing a warning shot and then another man came from behind and took the guard's gun and money bag. Loomis said it will pay $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment of the persons responsible the Robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dallas Police Department's Robbery Unit at 214-671-3585.

WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN BATHTUB
Fort Worth Police are investigating a suspicious death, after a 25-year-old woman was found dead in her bathroom around 11:30 Sunday night. Detectives said the woman was discovered face down in the bathtub, behind a locked door. The woman's husband and 7-year-old child are in Piedras Negras, Mexico, visiting relatives, police said. TESTIMONY BEGINS IN MURDER TRIAL OF UNT STUDENT
Testimony begins today in the case of a University of North Texas student that was killed back in 2007. Officers found the body of Melanie Goodwin burned in Carrollton. Police believe Ernesto Reyes, a man she met at a convenience store, killed her. He is charged with capital murder and if convicted he faces life in prison. Reyes was extradited to Dallas from Mexico. By Mexican law, he cannot face the death penalty here.

MAN SUSPECTED OF DWI IN ARLINGTON WRECK THAT HURT CHILD
A 44-year-old man with a history of DWI arrests was in jail Saturday after, police said, he drove while intoxicated Friday night, causing a wreck that seriously injured a 2-year-old child, the Star-Telegram reports.  Stewart Richardson of Davenport, Iowa, is facing a charge of intoxication assault with serious bodily injury, said Lt. Blake Miller, a spokesman for the Arlington Police Department. Bail had not been set by late Saturday. Click here to read this story form the Star-Telegram.

WOMAN ACCUSED OF KILLING HUSBAND WAIVES EXTRADITION
A Fort Worth woman who was arrested in New Mexico on suspicion of fatally stabbing her husband has agreed to waive extradition. Authorities arrested Dina Jackson, 34, on Friday after stopping a bus she was riding on Interstate 40 near Gallup. She is accused of stabbing her husband, Michael Jackson, 37, of Fort Worth.
