Crash in Maypearl Injures Four Teens

The teenagers are all 18 and younger

Four teenagers are in Dallas hospitals Thursday morning after all were involved in a crash in Maypearl.

Maypearl police arrived at 12600 FM 157 at about 11:04 p.m. to a rolled over vehicle.

Police said four people were traveling in the Volkswagen Bug, two boys and two girls. The teens are all aged 18 and younger.

Authorities said the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center line of the two-lane highway, rolled though a barb wire fence and stopped in a pasture.

When officials arrived, two teens were found outside of the vehicle, two others were still inside.

Paramedics airlifted two victims to Parkland and Baylor hospital, both in serious condition. The two other victims were transported to Methodist Hospital in Dallas with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking into what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
