Cowboys' Dak, Zeke Jerseys in High Demand

The Dallas Cowboys rookies lead the NFL in jersey sales

Dallas Cowboys rookies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott continue to lead the NFL in jersey sales.

According to Elliott is first and Prescott is second in sales so far this season.

At the Cowboys Pro Shop at AT&T Stadium, fans from across the country are after silver and blue merchandise.

"This is like heaven. You can get whatever you want," said Cowboys fan Scott Stout. "Dak is getting it done. We're getting a ring."

Stout is from Virginia but visits Arlington once a year to watch the Cowboys. He said it's tough to find Cowboys fan gear on the East Coast.

"It is impossible to find anything," said Stout. "They're sold out of Dak jerseys. They're sold out at a lot of places."

Prescott jerseys are available at the Cowboys Pro Shop and other retailers, but smaller sizes are limited.

And Cowboys fan fever is sweeping just about everyone in North Texas, including 11-year-old Hayden Jensen. The elementary schooler drags his mom and three sisters to the playing field in front of the Cowboys' headquarters at The Star in Frisco at least once a week, if not more.

"It's not that cool to throw the ball in your front yard, but when you come out here, there's a lot of space to run around and have fun," Jensen said.

Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr says he gets fuel from dedicated fans.

"They're everything, they provide the juice for us," Carr said. "We look forward to coming into that stadium, seeing the seats filled with 70,000 rocking fans. They give us energy. We look forward to playing for our home crowd."

The Cowboys, now 9-1 on the season and in first place in the NFC East, host the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving Day at AT&T Stadium.
