Dallas police say children walking to school Friday morning found a man fatally shot, lying in the driveway of an Oak Cliff home.
Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Golden Hills Drive after 8 a.m. where they found the 36-year-old man deceased, police said.
Witnesses told investigators gunshots were heard at about 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.
The man's identity will be released after next of kin have been notified.
The investigation remained ongoing, police said.
