Missing Dog From Fort Worth Fire Department Is Found

An arson-detection dog from the Fort Worth Fire Department who ran off Monday was found about 1.5 miles from his home, the fire department said.

On Monday, the yellow Labrador named Willie got loose near North Crowley High School at 9100 S. Hulen St. He was wearing a blue collar with a brass name tag, officials said.

On Tuesday morning, the fire department announced Willie had been found "in a backyard."

The dog has been with the fire department for only two months.
