The Lewisville police department is investigating the death of Germaine Dawson.The 21-year-old University of North Texas student died from a single gunshot wound.
Someone called Lewisville police to report Dawson missing Thursday night, his body was found inside a vehicle in front of a business in the 2400 block of South Interstate 35E.
Detectives are awaiting autopsy results from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office to determine an official cause and manner of death.
Both Lewisville and Denton police are investigating.
Dawson played 4 years as defensive back for the UNT football team.
