    Two in Custody after Fatal Shooting

    Dallas police say they have two suspects in custody in connection with a deadly shooting at an apartment complex Monday night.

    According to the Dallas Police Department, the shooting occurred at 11:22 p.m. in the 14600 block of Monfort Drive at the Saxony Apartments.

    Officials said 31-year-old Heath Perea was transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead. It is unknown if he was a resident of the apartment complex.

    Two people were taken into custody in connection with the shooting, but police have revealed no information about the pair or what led to the shooting.

    An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
