The Collin County Courthouse was closed Tuesday, postponing all filings, cases and hearings after a power outage Monday night.
The courthouse in McKinney lost power at about 9 p.m. Monday after some issues with flickering during the day, Collin County Public Information Officer Tim Wyatt said.
Greg Henscheid had a meeting scheduled with his probation officer, he said he's upset that he'll drive nearly 80 miles round trip for nothing.
"I'm going to have to come back out," he said. "They should have let us know."
About 300 people work in the four-story courthouse.
