Police Search For Suspect in ‘Brutal' Assault, Robbery

The Tarrant County Sheriff's Department is desperately seeking a man they said is responsible for a "brutal" assault and robbery at a convenience store.

Deputies released a close up picture of the suspect on Saturday.

On Dec. 5 at 7:15 a.m., the department said the man entered the Briar Beer and Tobacco convenience store at 14634 Farm-to-Market Road 730 in northwest Tarrant County.

The suspect reportedly entered the store, assaulted the clerk with a deadly weapon and took an unknown amount of cash from the store's cash register. 

He then fled in a dark four-door sedan with a third brake light in the upper center back windshield.

The department told NBC DFW the suspect is extremely dangerous.They're urging the public to call 911, not to try to capture him themselves.
