Cedar Hill police said a nursing home staff member is accused of sexual assault of a resident at the facility where he works.
Ryan Otey, 27, was allegedly found by another staff member at Crescent Place Assisted Living Center in bed with his pants off next to a 76-year-old female resident with limited mental ability, police said.
Otey provided a statement to police and was then arrested on a charge of aggravated sexual assault.
The resident's family was contacted about the alleged assault, and investigators are working to determine if any other residents were similarly harmed, police said.
Otey remained at the Dallas County Jail on Friday on a $500,000 bond.
