Four Injured in Fatal One-Car Crash

A 12-year-old girl was killed and four other people, including two children, were hospitalized after a crash in Fort Worth on Thursday afternoon.

The crash took place near Interstate 35W and Northside Drive shortly before 1 p.m.

Witnesses reported seeing the male driver going very fast and weaving in and out of traffic before swerving across the highway, hitting a guardrail and flipping over.

Shaquinta Briscoe, 12, was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Two adults and two children were hospitalized after the crash. Their conditions were not immediately known.

The crash is under investigation.
